Moet & Chandon hosts "View Lagos in Seven Days"

Visual arts lovers and promoters gathered in Lagos last week when Moet and Chandon hosted a private viewing at the Lagos Photo Exhibition.

The exhibition tagged View Lagos in Seven Days berthed at the Eko Hotel, Victoria Island. At the event were the founder of the African Artists Foundation, Azu Nwagbogu; Founder of ArtHouse, Caline Chagoury and renowned photographer, Stanley Greene.

In her welcome address, the Assistant Director of the foundation, Zainab Ashadu, noted that the annual project brought together photographers from different parts of the world, who have made different photographic expressions about Lagos.

Moet & Chandon also notes in a statement that it partnered with the foundation based on its interest in the development of the country's creative industry.

The statement adds, "Moet & Chandon, of the Moet-Hennessy stable, are big supporters of the arts. Over the years, the various Moet Hennessy brands, have supported some of the biggest art exhibitions in Nigeria. These include the auction of Modern and Contemporary Art powered by ArtHouse Contemporary Limited at The Wheatbaker in Ikoyi.

"Moet Hennessy is committed to keeping the arts alive in Nigeria, which is home to some of the greatest talents the globe over."
