Diarrhea is still responsible for the deaths of 3,000 children under five everyday. It is the second most common cause of child mortality worldwide. Every one of us has the power to make a difference - by doing something as simple as teaching a child to wash their hands with soap.
The Global hand washing day theme for 2012 is “Help a child reach the age of 5” through hand washing.
