HARMATTTAN CARNIVAL, Anambra’s biggest social event will be taking place from 30th Dec. 2012 to 1st Jan. 2013 at Adazi-Nnukwu, Anambra state. It promises to be a 3 days fun filled celebrations, laced with music, dance, and performances by musical acts, massive fireworks, the traditional bonfire & fire dancing etc.
The upcoming edition of the Carnival will mark its 20th Anniversary and over 10,000 persons from all over Anambra State and the country will take part in the festivities.
The HARMATTAN CARNIVAL holds more than just dancing or singing or having fun. It carries the passions and experiences of the participants. It’s a unique blend of the modern and the traditional. It creates a platform for returnees (As we say, ‘natad’ persons) to the South East of Nigeria for Xmas holiday from all over the world to unwind and have fun whilst interacting in a typical African Carnival. It’s about the fantastic fireworks. It is about making new acquaintances and exploring new cultures.
In a nut-shell, the carnival is more than an event – It is an EXPERIENCE. Don’t be left out!!!
